Computers and Communications
Electrons dance in your CPU
and
Bounce back and forth
in all the wires too!
Here are my career interests:
- Computer Communications
If you'd like to call me at
home to experience dialing into a BBS with your modem I live in
the San Fernando Valley, just north of Los Angeles, CA; drop me
an email and we can arrange some time
for you to call in. I've also studied and used Email (SMTP and POP3),
HTTP (of course!), FTP, telenet, Finger,
MS Net Meeting, ICQ, pcAnywhere (elsewhere) and
other forms of remote control (such as trojans) on the Internet, and at
the same location direct connections between two computers using serial
and parallel ports (such as RS-232).

- I hope you enjoy this article about the Hexadecimal number
system and its use on computers. There's a very brief section on the
history of the PC here as well:
So, What Is Hexadecimal,
and Where Can I Find It On My Computer?"
- How To Make a Boot Disk and
What Files/Programs should be on it?
- Can your computer use all the space on a new hard drive?
(Very good historical info, but outdated regarding the very large hard
drives now available!)
The 504 Megabyte Barrier, and the New 2.1
Gigabyte Limit !
- Programming

Windows 95 and NT." Includes links to online courses in
Perl and books about Perl you can download.

You can always
write to me here!
"I See
You!" (October, 1996.)
I used to check out video cameras and "vision" software as
part of my job with IOC.
